App updates and development
Hobity may continue to improve, add, modify, or remove features over time. Some features may depend on device permissions, location access, account status, or service availability.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity carried out using your account. You should provide accurate information and must not impersonate others or create misleading or fraudulent accounts.
Business accounts
Businesses using Hobity are responsible for ensuring that information, events, promotions, and communications are accurate and lawful. Verification helps confirm authenticity but does not guarantee quality or endorse any business.
Real-world activity safety
Hobity helps people connect through hobbies and activities, but every user remains responsible for their own decisions when meeting others, travelling to activities, or taking part in any event. Always use good judgement and prioritise your personal safety.
Activities and plans
When creating or joining activities, you agree to be respectful, truthful, and considerate. Activities must not promote illegal, misleading, dangerous, abusive, or harmful behaviour.
Communities
Communities should encourage participation, learning, and positive shared interests. Communities must not be used for harassment, scams, spam, hate, or unsafe behaviour.
Moments and content
You retain ownership of the content you create. By posting content on Hobity, you give Hobity permission to display and distribute that content within the app so that other users can view it according to your selected visibility settings.
Messaging
Direct messages and group chats should always be used respectfully. Harassment, threats, repeated unwanted contact, spam, scams, hate speech, and abusive behaviour are prohibited.
Trust and reputation
Hobity may use positive trust signals such as participation, attendance, tagged Moments, mutual connections, and community history to improve safety and encourage genuine participation.
Prohibited behaviour
You may not use Hobity to harass others, impersonate people, promote hate, scam users, share illegal content, coordinate dangerous activities, abuse reporting systems, interfere with the platform, or violate applicable laws.
Reports, blocks, and moderation
Hobity may review reports, investigate safety concerns, remove content, restrict accounts, suspend features, or permanently remove accounts where necessary to protect the community.
App availability
We aim to provide a reliable service, but we cannot guarantee that Hobity will always be available, uninterrupted, or free from technical issues.
Limitation of liability
Hobity provides a platform for connecting people through hobbies and activities. Users remain responsible for their own decisions, interactions, travel, purchases, and participation in real-world events. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hobity is not liable for losses, injuries, disputes, or damages arising from interactions between users.
Account removal
Hobity may suspend or permanently remove accounts that violate these Terms or create safety concerns. Users may delete their own accounts within the app. Some information may be retained where required for legal obligations, fraud prevention, security, or moderation purposes.
